Motiv is ascending the boundaries of entry level performance with the Ascent Apex. For the Ascent Apex Motiv modified the original Fusion coverstock to make the Fusion XL (xtra long) coverstock. They have finished the cover with a 1500 grit and polish. The core of this ball is the Recon. This core has high RG and low differential that provides length, controlled track flare, and a more angular move on the backend. All of these factors combine to make a great entry level bowling ball.

The Fusion™ XL (Xtra Length) Pearl Reactive cover technology utilized on the Ascent Apex is a modified version of the original Fusion™ shell first used on the Primal Rage™, which provided a shockingly strong backend motion. The Mountain Blue Pearl Ascent Apex is finished to 1500 Grit and polished.
