The MOTIV engineering team has made significant strides recently leading the industry in Pearl shell technology and the new Propulsion shell is the culmination of the response. With this new Pearl shell, the Pride Empire slides effortlessly over the lane surface, storing energy for dynamic movement down the lane. And that's with a 5000 grit laser scanned finish! Bowlers wanting maximum length and a heavy backend reaction can adjust the finish to a higher 5500 grit, but they may get more than they bargained for. We left it at 5000 to tame this beast a bit.
The asymmetric Dominion core at the heart of the Pride Empire also has special properties. A moderate RG differential and low Intermediate differential allow the ball to perform better on low oil and higher friction surfaces than heavier asymmetric balls like the Jackal Series, which are designed for higher volume oil patterns. Additionally, the Pride Empire's asymmetric physics offers ball drillers greater layout versatility as equalization holes are no longer allowed in competition.
